Gingerbread House

Logan goes to day care 2 days a week. He really likes his teachers and makes some really cool projects. The other day he made a gingerbread house and it was pretty nice!!!
Here he is proudly displaying his creation!

Do you think I need a hair cut?????

First Snow Storm of 2008!

Last night it started snowing and it hasn't stopped yet almost 24 hours later! I am so excited I feel like a little kid... Thank goodness I have a little kid to play with! We got all bundled up this afternoon and headed out for some fun in the snow. We took a spin around the yard in Logan's sled and that was so much fun.
We also tried to catch snowflakes on our tongues. Logan really enjoyed that. We stayed out for over an hour which was a lot longer than I thought we would stay out since it was only 21 degrees out. After we played in the snow we headed back inside and had a little cookie and cocoa party in the living room. This was Logan's first time having cocoa and needless to say.... HE LOVED IT!

Pre Christmas FUN

Yesterday we had a play date with our friends Drew and Sarah.
It was a lot of fun... The mommies got to drink coffee and the boys played great together.

Dear Santa...

We went to see Santa for the 2nd year in a row at the True Value Hardware Store in Mansfield MA. My home town.
This year was entirely different for Logan because last year he sat peacefully on Santa's lap not really knowing what was going on, This year however he would not even put his feet on the ground once he saw the jolly old fellow!

Logan finally agreed to take a picture with Santa however it meant that Mommy needed to be the barrier between the big guy and the little guy.

After our visit we took a nice walk and had lunch at a little pub with Logan's cousins Connor and Cameron and Grammy and Grampy, Auntie Pam and Uncle Brian.
It was quite a lot fun!

Post Thanksgiving Party with the Nangles

Every year we have my family over to celebrate Thanksgiving and the start of the Christmas season.
My good friend Kara was able to join us this year and it was a treat to see her since she moved to San Antonio last year. Auntie Pam and Uncle Brian, Connor and Cameron, Grammy, Grampy, Uncle Stephen and Auntie Amie were all able to come over and celebrate. We had a fire in the fire pit outside and that was fun to gather around.

Thanksgiving

So I have been very bad at blogging once again....
Soooo I am starting with Thanksgiving.
We spent the day with the Caldwell's in Newbury at Aunt Ax's house.
It was a fun filled day of eating!
Logan had a wonderful day being the only little person there he was showered in attention!

We stayed over in Newburyport so we did not have to battle the traffic on the way up there on Thanksgiving morning. We started out our morning with a wonderful walk around Newburyport along the waterfront and got a great cup of coffee. Logan loved that we remembered to bring his wagon and he was thrilled to be out in the crisp morning air.

We were snapping some pics and a nice couple walked by and offered to take a family photo. This was the result he was the "HAPPY Snapper" Actually he was not that happy and grumbled at us for moving but didn't offer to take another so here is our family pic...

Aunt Ax, preparing the meal!

Granpa Billy getting ready to devour the Turkey!!!!! OH YEAH YEAH YEAH...

At the end of the day Booker was so pooped out and was being one with the floor.

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!!!!
